Single-pass weighing

Dispatch's default operating mode is Single-Pass Weighing.

When using Single-Pass Weighing, stored Tare weights are used so that Trucks are only required to pass over your scale once to produce a complete Ticket. This could be on the way in or the way out of your facility (e.g. pit, quarry, plant, depot, yard, transfer station, landfill, port).

Single-Pass Weighing should be used when you normally produce a complete Ticket in a single weighing operation.

Industries that typically use Single-Pass Weighing are: Aggregate (sand and gravel pits, quarries) and Road Building (asphalt shipping, granular material, recycled asphalt).

Shipping

Typically a Truck enters your yard empty and then passes over your scale loaded on the way out. The Gross weight is recorded automatically from the scale and the Tare weight is recalled from the Truck table.

Receiving

Typically a Truck enters your yard loaded and passes over the scale on the way in. The Gross weight is recorded automatically from the scale and the Tare weight is recalled from the Truck table.
